Website: http://www.squidoo.com/howtoacne Over a ten year quest looking for a way to get rid of my acne i have tried the following acne treatments:
1: Roaccutane best acne treatment 2009
Which is a dermatologist prescribed treatment to help get rid of acne. I found that i suffered serious side effects including
- depression
- dryness of my entire body
- major breakouts
Overall Roaccutane had transformed my acne from bad to worst. I had not seen any improvement during my quest to get rid of my acne. Perhaps this is a major reason i am extremely harsh when it comes to dermatologists.
2: Proactiv best acne treatment 2009
I first heard about Proactiv on an infomercial. The big Jessica Simpson marketing campaign to help you get rid of acne. I found that my face felt much cleaner using the 3 part system by Proactiv but i have to be real and let you know that my face was really not improving. I do rate this product better than “Roaccutane”.
3: Clearasil
I cant say much when it comes to Clearasil besides if your looking for a cheap supermarket remedy that will still probably make you disappointed than give this a go. Guys i used this for 6 months and its a complete waste of time.
4: Skin B5 best acne treatment
Skin B5 had started to clear my acne for a short amount of time. Although every time i applied this remedy i used to get a burning sensation in my face as if i had a bad reaction to the ingredient. SkinB5 would have to be a better remedy than the above choices but still i wouldn’t give you the advice of buying skin b5 to get rid of your acne.
5: Changing diets and dermatologist visits best acne treatment
6: ClearPores best acne treatment 2009
Clearpores to me was the best and out of all remedies to clear my extreme acne, i was extremely surprised that this was the medication to help me. I first found out about Clearpores watching a video called ‘GET RID OF ACNE’ which i found on Youtube.

Acne affects almost all people at some point in their lives, irrespective of their race, sex, or age group. Recent studies show that 80% of acne prone people fall into the age group of 11 to 30. Acne tends to disappear when people enter their thirties for most, for some others, it continues up to their forties and fifties.
Acne treatment options depend on various factors such as patients’ age group, their sex, and the specifics of their conditions. Usually acne is treated by dermatologists who specialize in skin diseases. These doctors provide treatments for all kinds of acne, especially when it is severe. The treatments take into account the sensitiveness of the patient’s skin and the reactions after taking the first course of medicines.
Studies show that women are more prone to acne problems during their menstrual cycle, due to hormonal changes. For these women, consulting dermatologists may not be sufficient. Combined treatment by both a dermatologist and a gynecologist may yield effective results.
People suffering from mild acne problems can get treatment from general or family practitioners. In general, treatment takes 8 to 10 weeks to show some signs of improvement. During these treatments, acne patients should be strict with their diets and especially should especially avoid greasy or oily foods. They should wash their face with mild soaps and use a gentle touch whenever touching their faces. The utmost care and regular medication may give them the expected results.
Herbal treatments are accepted as an effective alternative to conventional methods by many people. It is believed that the side effects are rare in herbal treatments. Though it is time consuming, the treatments give permanent relief. Doctors who specialize in herbal treatments are highly in demand.

Effective Natural Acne Treatments
Acne can be so dreadful that it can actually cause you to have low self-esteem and be depressed. Tragically, 17 million people in the United States suffer from acne with a horrendous 85% of young adults ages 12 to 25 affected by this horrible skin disease. True, acne is probably the most common skin problem. But do we really know what we need to know about acne? Once acne besets you, you may grope for all sorts of acne treatments ranging from soaps, creams, tablets to regular visits to the facial center of the dermatologist. But what measures really are proven acne treatments? You may frantically try all sorts of acne treatments as these tiny objects on your face can defile your natural beauty and could give you a lot of hang-ups.
Perhaps to better understand effective acne treatments, it would be necessary to probe into the underlying cause of acne. Are acne outbreaks caused by food such as chocolate and that tempting greasy pizza that you regularly eat? Other people even contribute acne outbreaks to environmental factors such as the wind and dust. Or sometimes it could be a matter of personal care and hygiene. But to get down to the basics, the causes of acne are simply heredity, clogged up skin cells in the pores, hormonal changes, overactive sebaceous glands, initiating or discontinuing contraceptive pills and oily make up. Knowing the causes of acne, it is best to resort to natural acne treatments.
Natural is best, they say. It is safe and unadulterated. Acne is so common a phenomenon but maybe majority of acne sufferers don’t realize that natural acne treatments are available, even more so, they are reliable. Natural acne treatments are also proven safe and would work well with different kinds of acne: whiteheads, blackheads, papules, cysts, nodules and pustules. Once a pore is entirely blocked and looks visibly white on the surface, that is a whitehead. A blackhead is black, as the name suggests because it is a partially blocked pore and a skin pigment reaction. Papules, on the other hand are the common tender, small pink or red bump.
Papules can in fact be simply a convergence of a hair and skin cell into a pore and consequently creates a bacteria. Large, pus-filled and painful bumps under the surface of the skin are called cysts. At times, nodules would appear under the skin and they are large, painful pimples. An inflammation of a whitehead with a white or yellow ‘topping’ is called a pustule. Natural acne treatments are available for all of these types of acne. You need not dig deeper into your wallet and resort to expensive, nay overpriced medical or technological acne treatments. These sort of acne treatments may not even be effective as your acne outbreak may recur.
Natural acne treatments intensively treat acne from the inside out regardless of the kind of pimple that bothers you. Plus, natural acne treatments can actually make your skin flawless by diminishing spots and blemishes. They work, 100%. There are several sites you can visit for natural acne treatments, or better yet seek expert opinion.
